On the lunch break of the 19th March 2010 Silk group organised a mile run around the Bolton Queens Park to raise money for Sports Relief. Everybody taking part had to raise a minimum of £5 for the charity and Silk Group would then add an extra £5 on top. The course could be ran or walked, the only condition was to complete the full course. Silk Group also gave each competitor a free pedometer to track their progress. Joining the Silk Group team where local businesses, CLB and Dukefields, coaches from David Lloyd leisure Club, a teacher from Bolton School and Politian, Deborah Dunleavy. Silk Group Team celebrate. A total of £425 was raised for Sports Relief and everybody enjoyed the event. ]]>

Silk Promotions Z 2010-01-08T05:48:10Z tag:www.silkpromotions.com,: Je m’appelle Sam!! Sam wins the incentive but Donna steals the Plane ticket!! Bonjour! During the Month of June Silkgroup ran a sales incentive to award the lucky winner with a trip to Nice in France to visit one of our suppliers. All the sales team really embrassed the incentive and it came down to a very close finish. The overall winner was Sam, but has she is to give birth to a little baby in September she could not take the Plane ticket, this was then awarded to Donna who came in second place. Silkgroup hope the trip is very informative to expand our knowledge of the supplier and goods but we are also sure alittle bit of fun will be thrown in along the way. Well done to all the team who took part in the incentive. Winner - Sam recieves the string of REAL onions by Peter Hackin Sam loves the smell of 6 onions around her neck! - Not! Donna takes the ticket and second place.   ]]>

Alphabet Fancy Dress! Comic Relief saw all of the Silkgroup office staff dressing up in a themed fancy dress. Everybody in the team dressed up in a character begining with the letter 'S'. Other activities during the day also helped raise money, like grabbing a microphone and singing along to your favourite track on the 'sing star' game and how long can you 'hola hoop' for? A total of £300 was raised. Well done all round! ]]>
